Research suggests that around 80% of cats respond to silvervine in at least one form. Responses can vary widely — from quiet sniffing and pawing to energetic chasing, rolling and zoomies.

How to use
Offer one fruit at a time and place it on the floor or another suitable play surface.
Let your cat sniff, paw, bat, chase, carry or chew it naturally.
You can also roll it gently, hide it in a cardboard box, or place it near a scratcher or toy to turn scent exploration into a little hunt.
As a general guide, offer 1–2 times per week. Some cats may enjoy it 3–4 times weekly, while others need longer breaks.
Every cat has a different reset time. Use your cat’s continued interest to find the rhythm that works best for them.
After each session, store the fruit sealed and somewhere your cat can’t reach it. This helps preserve the natural scent and prevents unsupervised access between sessions.
Good to know
Around 1 in 5 cats may show little or no interest in silvervine, and that is completely normal — compared with around 1 in 3 cats that may not respond to catnip.
A cat that isn’t interested in dried fruit may still respond differently to other silvervine forms such as sticks, fruit powder or leaves.
For supervised enrichment use only. Not intended as food. If a small amount is accidentally swallowed during licking or chewing, there is usually no need for concern.
Fruit care & storage
Check the fruit before and after each session and replace it if it becomes heavily chewed, broken or damaged.
Store intact pieces sealed in a cool, dry place, away from prolonged exposure to air, heat and direct sunlight, to help preserve the natural scent.
For hygiene and safety, avoid leaving used pieces out between sessions.
